We’re looking forward to welcoming Ira Cohen for a Speaker Series event this Wednesday evening. Ira will share some of his experiences as an AmCham China Governor, Beijing community leader, and serial entrepreneur in education and human resources over a nearly 30 year career in China:
As Vice-President of Universal Ideas Consultants, Ira leads a significant number of Executive Development, Education and Training initiatives and is representative of the many small and medium sized enterprises that are members of AmCham China. Included in his 29 year career in the region, he has been recognized for outstanding contributions to the field of human resources; strengthening the institutional capacity of technical/vocational institutions throughout the PRC; and a thought leader in the fields of action-learning and small enterprise entrepreneurs. Ira is also globally involved in the Special Olympics.
In his capacity as a pioneer in China’s EMBA and training sector, he continues to support small and large US companies and universities with their learning and sustainability in the China market. One platform AmCham China addresses is the human resource challenge of its member organizations. Ira brings to the Board a unique skill set to stand up on behalf of its members re regulatory and operational HR issues.
